Triple Detail

Hey y'all,

As promised, here are some pictures from my Tuesday detail, which included: 04' Corvette, 03' Yamaha WaveRunner, 03' Harley SuperGlide.......all in his 1600 sq/ft garage (so great to work in).

The guy was so impressed, I will be doing his 03' 28' Bayliner next week and his neighbor has a 200 ft long garage with 22 cars in it that he recommended me to......Last name McGuire (I got excited at first) :)

Enjoy the pics! Sorry, it was a gloomy day that rained.

Detailing Regimen was simple on this one: Wash, Clay, Poorboy's SSR1, EX, P21S, Meg's Final Detail, Endurance high-gloss on tires, Adam's VRT and Leather conditioner on interior.

Here is the WaveRunner---IT was a mess! They never spray it off with fresh water after the lake.

Mullet Wax Awesome Polish, followed by Poorboy's Polish w/Carnuba:

Used Adam's Vinyl, Tire, Rubber for the HUGE seat that need moisturizing.

Here is a 1/2 and 1/2 picture:

Last one---lotza chrome and aluminum to polish on this baby.

Needless to say, the paycheck was worth it!!

Several comments:
1. Congratulations on the connection.
2. Looking good!
3. Does the Adam's vinyl product leave a slick finish. (looking for something for the bike that doesn't leave me behind when I get on the gas)
4. Why aren't you in Daytona???

Charles

Nick,

What can I say............... superb work! :bigups :bigups

The Vette and the bikes are great but I'd kill for the garage. Mine would have about 7 stalls and my pool table. 4 stalls for vehicles 3 for working/painting. Heat/ac/water & drain/paint booth.

Very impressive Nick ...

Those are the type of customers I love !!! I get excited just thinking about that garage !!! That Vette is sweet. A friend of mine has the same one in that same color !!!

I left for Daytona right after posting these pics :)
Detailed 6 bikes while down there. Needless to say, I had a great time.

I am still recovering, and this will be my only post for the day.

The garage is actually 3 doors! I meant to post that one, but there is another door on the right side of the tall middle one.

The Adam's VRT does not leave a slick feel IMO. It dries very quickly, does not attract dust, and it a water-based product (not greasy). You really have to see it in person to see just how well it moisturizes untreated plastic. It is much thicker than Poorboy's Natural Look, more like a hand lotion type, and I really like the smell!

Thank you for all the kind comments

He now wants me to do his 28' Bayliner. He repainted the bottom 1/3 of the haul, and waxed until the rails start, so all I have to do is the deck, rails, and cabin.....I'll post more pics of it when I'm done.

Nick, I have a bike in the shop right now that is quite similar to this one. It's a '95. I've got everything done (sparkling) except the front spokes! I've tried a variety of things, including LusterLace... still dull!

Any tricks?

Thanks, Jim
