Trim Problems

On my truck I have plastic(vinyl) bedrail covers, when I went to dress them today with PBs trim restorer there were what looked like waterspots but they were white? I have no clue what they are. I tried the only thing I had which was Simple Green Automotive full strength and it didnt work. Anyone have any ideas.
Also what do people use on the smooth rubber trim around their windows because Trim Restorer is too streaky. :dunno

On the smooth rubber trim around windows, I normally use a one step paint polish/protectant. Examples would be: Clearkote Vanilla Moose, Poorboy's Polish with Carnuba, and Klasse All In One.

Regarding the white spots, did you try scrubbing with a soft brush?

Try AIO. If that does yeild results try this.

I wrote up this how to a little bit ago. It might work if the AIO doesnt. When you read this keep in mind to use the magic eraser Super lightly!

If you have VM, use the TR followed by the VM and see where you come out.
