I have tried black wow and don't like the way it runs onto your paint if you over apply it. It makes quite a mess.

If I may, how much are you applying to the applicator pad or your method of application?

Personally, I have never had a run on problem on my paint only if i accidentally touch the paint with the applicator.

Remember, you need only a little tiny amount.

Try applying a little less next time and see if that helps you out.

Best of luck.

Yeah but look at the amount needed per application, and you'll be stunned. A sesame seed side drop of BW will cover 24 square inches. 1/8 oz will cover an entire jeep--fenders, side cladding, roof rack, front and rear bumpers. That's 40 applications of BW (BW is labeled as 4OZ but contains more than 5OZ) in a bottle--and if it only lasts for a month, that's 40 months of applications uhm 3.33333 years. Do you really need to know how far your $24.95 is going to stretch???

Look at the price per ounce and you'll feel a LOT better.;)

There are reports of 4months + per application for BW. Results will vary based on location and weather.

Wow..thanks for all of this feedback guys!

Well, seeing the above review on BW wearing off after a month isnt terriibly appealing (the car wont be garaged...and id rather it last as long as possible). Can anyone speak to the durability of the Ultima for a car that sits outside 24/7? More than 1+ month?

my Ultima'd license plate bracket still sitting out on my deck running strong, can post a picture tomorrow (as long as my guy SpoiledMan helps if needed) if wanted. it is under a pile of snow/ice right now and it is dark out

love the Ultima

anyone in the central Indiana area that wants to try the Black WOW and/or Ultima product feel free to PM me. we could even do a half/half on a trim piece on your car

ok here are a few pictures, snow and ice melted away as it was in the 40s today. untouched, 1 application left on my deck on my table to endure rain, sleet, snow, ice, sun, temps have ranged from single digits to approx 60 degrees. been over 2 full months now on a weathered license plate bracket half is untouched, half is how it was from a 2003 Beetle Convertible

nicer and darker black than just water on the untreated side. the treated side beads up nice. it is some good stuff for the trim. I am going to order version 2 one of these days. maybe I will have better luck on tires with v2.

thanks ULTIMA for the GREAT products. PGP is my fav and the bottle lasts forever
