Just though i would share with you some things i do when all else fails with moldings, carpet stains, texture bumpers
I use a product called sem trim restorer & dye
This stuff is great for above items that are beyond polishing or cleaning.
It is a type of paint that works great for textured parts
If you have a molding that is in bad color shape, but no damage to it. Tape off the molding and surronding area very well, get the color match you need and spray the molding..... like new again
for carpeting same thing it can dye the carpeting and cover the stain that you will never know it was on the carpet
for black textured bumpers this works great, you can not tell what has been painted with SEM or not. It dries fast and a can only cost me 7.95. I have yet to see one that had faded or wore off. I have used this on boats, M/C, cars and just about anything that has some texture to it that needs more color.
I will get some before and after shots for you this weekened as i will do a 98 ford with it and a 86 blazer.
