Trim Detailer leaves residue?

Hey all,



I have been using Meguiars Gold Class Trim Detailer on my black plastic trim around my windows and have noticed that it is leaving a horrible spotty residue on my paint and windows around the seal. I also noticed that a few days after applying it the black color of the plastic molding looks uneven and basically kinda crappy looking.



Has anyone else experienced this?
 
Is this happening after you have used the trim dressing, if so it sounds like you have not buffed all the excess dressing
 
Yes it is after I have applied it. Next time I guess I will try to rub it in really well and try not to use very much.
 
We tried their trim detailer and it doesn't hold up that well. Try their proffesional series #38, it stays looking good for many weeks and I never had a problem with it.



I let mine sit for 10-15 minutes, then I go over it with a dry mf towel to remove the excess.
