Trig & Marley Detailed: Nissan Armada (56kay No-Way)

Alright Guys. This is Trig and Marley's (Soon to be Member) first Mobile Detail. Over the past couple weeks we have been collecting about $700 bucks in detailing ammo, and we are only just starting. We hope to have a kick arse hobby and make a little money on the weekends while we're doing it. Today was our first paying customer, even though we gave him a pretty good deal to be the first one, and for us to attack his car with all are new stuff.

The Armada was pretty beat up as you can tell, and that was a big suprise bummer for us, because we wanted to shine up a nice car, and for a 2 year old car it had seen what looked like 7 too many accidents.

Most of the scratches besides the hood were deep-deep, and all I could do was try to blend them in a little better. The scratches on the sides of the SUV were from bicycle handlebars and all corners of the bumpers were super beat up and scratched.

I know pricing is different for everybody, and Marley and I already decided what we would have charged, but if anybody here doesn't mine saying what they'd charge, we're very interested in weather or not we're in the right price range.

I know the motor has water spots on it but all we did was a quick rinse. I don't think the customer will ever find out they're there.

:nervous2:

Also, the seat stains were not budging with anything we had. We will definitely need to invest in maybe a carpet cleaner and some more stain/upholstery cleaning products.

nice job guys. bissel lgm like $70 bucks at home depot.:hifive:

But is it worth it? This entire interior was cleaned by hand, and the only thing that didn't come out sweet was the seats.

Is a LGCM worth it, and what products should we use in it to clean up stuff like that?

I think this is the first time anything has been cleaned on the Armada since Dealer Prep

The minimum amount of swirls on the beat up Armada definitely told us that it wasn't washed incorrectly.

Or washed at all.

type in " little green bissell machine " in the search and you'll find some info. also, at the very bottom of a thread you'll see some similiar threads as well...

p.s. for the weekend warrior the LGBM will suffice, but if you're doing many cars you may want to look into an extractor (mytee, durrmaid, aztec, etc)...

p.s. for the weekend warrior, the LGBM will suffice, but if you do many cars you may want to look into a hot water extractor (mytee, durrmaid, aztec) though it costs considerably more...
