I tried out some Mopar detailing products as you can see :D I found them in a car that was maybe 7 years old... the products were never opened and I donâ€â„¢t think the car was ever detailed! surprise surprise. So I thought I would post what I thought about them.

Wax Treated Polishing Cloth: I guess this is a product that has been around for a long time. I havenâ€â„¢t been around that long so I donâ€â„¢t really know. I didnâ€â„¢t open it though. Iâ€â„¢ve seen the damage one of these things can do :)

Leather, Rubber, & Vinyl Protector: This was a very thin liquid. It had some cleaning ability to it but not too much. It didnâ€â„¢t have a special scent or anything like that. It left behind a wonderful look though. It wasnâ€â„¢t glossy at all, just a really nice matt look. I was surprised that it worked so well. From my short use, I would actually recommend this product to others.

Class Cleaner: It seemed kind of watery. I used it late at night when there was more moisture in the air and it didnâ€â„¢t work super well. I think the fact that it was so watery didnâ€â„¢t help with that. I'm not fond of stuff in aerosol cans in the first place though. So this product is better than nothing, but products like Stoners Invisible Glass beat it by FAR.

Car Wash Liquid Concentrate: I didnâ€â„¢t get to use this stuff, but it did seem very watery as well. It seemed to share a lot of properties that the Perma Plate (yet another product Iâ€â„¢ve tried thatâ€â„¢s not favored much/used much) car wash has. I wouldnâ€â„¢t think that it would give as much lubrication as other products that are favored on here. I never tired I so I guess I donâ€â„¢t really know though.

So why did I write all of this? for fun... :D I thought I would post something about some lesser known and looked down upon products. I havenâ€â„¢t written too much of an extensive review... these are just my initial thoughts. I wouldnâ€â„¢t buy these normally, but if I was in trouble and needed something fast, these would work. Continue On!

I love the part where it says:

"For Cars, Trucks, Fine (only FINE, not cheap ugly) Furniture, and Highly Polished Surfaces...." It's like if it were to go on.....Dining Tables, Stoves, For Cleaning Your Refrigerator, Fishtanks, As Toilet Paper...

The uses keep getting broader and broader.

Oh, and they have to mention "...cars, trucks.." as if it's competitors are only for cars?

And they don't reccomend it on mini-vans or SUV's either ;)

I didn't even know Mopar made products like that. Pretty cool! :)

You can get quite a few detailing type things at the Chrysler dealerships. If I remember correctly, "most" are made by Autoint/Valueguard

I use a dust cloth for the interior. It works very well for dust on the dash etc. Never on the exterior.

This is funny, a coworker was just telling me he went to the dealer to get some stuff to take the wax off the plastic trim of his Jeep Liberty. He was braging about it two weeks ago and I told him the hitness would be back after a while. So today he was telling me about this other stuff he tried and I asked, "What about that mopar crap you bought?" he just said that it didn't work too great. LOL

As BigLeegr said, many of the MOPAR care care products are made by AutoInt (or at least they used to be). Some of them are pretty good. A guy I know was sold on Zymol  but then he tried the MOPAR sealant/wax stuff and was amazed at how much better it was.
