Tried my Blackfire kit - WOW!!

I tried my Blackfire paste wax kit the other day on a Jeep Patriot I detailed. The customer wanted a wash, clay, and wax only. But I polished out the hood with M205 so I had a prepped surface for the wax.

This stuff applied very nice and buffed off so nice it was unreal. And you hardly use any because it goes on so darn thin!

The hood was so smooth I could not believe it.

and the microfiber that comes with the kit is top quality, might buy them seperate if I can.

Heres some pics:

sorry the pics are blurry, but you can still see how good it looks, I am no pro but I think it looks good and the customer liked it as well.

Looks real good
That's a product on my shopping list next.
I've just spent a lot of money on stocking up my detailing supplies that included GEP, BFWD and BF SRC. I'd love to get that wax, though :D

Haven't tried the midnight sun but I'm tempted to buy some, as I'm a big fan of Wet Diamond!

Glad you liked it.
I bought the Blackfire Wet Diamond based on your glowing review. Slickness is a quality that is high on my list, right up there with gloss. I will be using it for the first time tomorrow.

I also have the Blackfire Midnight Sun Kit due to arrive tomorrow picked it up from PAC during their 4th of July sale.

The Fire and Ice look will have to be really something before I sacrifice slickness for it.

Dear Mike:

You are indeed one of the smartest guys I've met on any internet forums. You virtually set up my entire home network from your home through the MOL forum and for that I will always be in your debt.

However, you should have learned by now to NEVER follow anything I write. Yes, Wet Diamond is a great product and you can learn that from many others, instead of a schmuck like me. In the future, if you would like to avoid bitter disappointment, jail time or sheer frustration, ignore my posts! ;) LOL

Seriously though... let me know what you think. You know I don't give praise out too easily so tell me if it meets your expectations or not. I just bought my second batch of Wet Diamond from a Canadian internet dealer and I'm extremely happy with it in all regards.

Just this morning wifey's CR-V was parked outside and it had rained overnight and it was still beading like the week after it was done. I'm not exactly sure when I did her car (I can check my review) but my guess is that it has been at least 6 weeks.

If I get 8 weeks out of it, it'll be enough for me, as I'm getting antsy and want to hit it again!!! LOL :drool5:

UN, you should get about 6 months out of Blackfire Wet Diamond with 2 coats on your vehicles.

Nick , your ride looks so wet even with the blurry shoot's. Thanks for sharing with us.........

Don't write such awful things to me. If my wife reads it, how the hell am I going to explain the need to re-apply Wet Diamond every six weeks!!!

Sheesh Angelo, I thought you knew better.

"I swear wifey, don't read what Angelo writes, it is imperative for the health of the cars paint that I wax every six weeks".

Hankerin to try BF myself...

I got the kit about a week ago - hope to use it this coming weekend. :w00t:

I like the new pile of smiles too...:StarWars:

Its not that good, I'm just a shill that is good with photoshop...

I was so impressed with Blackfire (long before I even did work for CMA) that it became my go to product. I'd love to here the reviews from the BF newbies!

I just did my wifes' Mustang with BF with polycharger and boosted that as well. Hopefully this weekend I apply the BFMS and see how it turns out after it cures. BF is the best i've used in a long time, you will like the results.

BF Newbie here! For me to put BFWD on my precious Vette, it must be pretty good stuff!;)

For my wife to notice the shine, unsolicited, is really saying something!!!! "This car really looks good!":scared::thumbup:

Don't know if this pic will work, first attempt to shrink and post it but, this is 3 months, 6 off-road trips, multiple washings and a coat of dust after applying Blackfire. This stuff rocks my Rubicon!

Welcome red rock rubi to TID and your Rubicon looks very cool and glad you love the Blackfire on it..

I guess a lot of folks really like Blackfire, my three blurry pictures started a three page thread
