Tried HD UNO for the first time ever today.

Thanks. Are you using a rotary or a DA? I have the new 3D polisher coming and will try my hand at using it with HD UNO. Faster is where it's at and that's where I want to be.

After HD UNO at 1800rpm and a yellow foam, HD POLISH 3D polisher, green HD pad speed 5

Thanks Dan. I'm not done trying yet but I do like what I read, where Tunch has told Barry that he'd make him a more aggressive compound. I have got a process down with 105 that requires just a quick wash to remove all the dust. Really nothing in the cracks to clean out and not much taping either so the non dusting benefit at the expense of time isn't really in my plan. I'll just keep practicing with HD UNO in the off work hours.

Well, that wash is time. There are times you really need the cut of 105, I'm not going to deny that. But when you don't need 105 on wool, you can use UNO on wool and avoid the wash. Hopefully that makes sense.

And how do you avoid the 105 dust? I end up getting it into the door jambs, in the window trim, etc.

I do get a lot of dust with 105, that doesn't bother me because I wash the car before it gets the LSP regardless. I thought you were saying you get the actual compound in the cracks if you don't tape over them. Dust...yes...I get dust. I get what you're saying about HD UNO on a wool pad as I was impressed with the fact that I got no dusting. Thanks for the insight.
