Some people recommended Goof Off. I found some in my garage just now, but it isn't made SPECIALLY for cars. Its more of a all around type. It says its safe on paints with oil bases. Also Safe on glass.
It also contains Xylene.
I have some questions.
1) The dealer keeps putting those damned stickers on my windshield. Would that be okay to put on the window and get the stickers off without harming the glass?
2) How should I apply to the glass? Wet the paper towel first?
3) Is it safe on a clearcoated 2000 Oddessy's Paint? (Tree sap)
4) Should I rewash the spot I put the product on after I wipe it off?
5) Is Xylene gonna kill me if I inhale it?
Thanks for all these newb questions! But I have my first "Detail" tomorrow. Going to do a 2001 Oddessy (Work Van) and a 2002 Volvo S70 . Basically, wash, wax and interior. The owner told me about lots of tree sap!
