treatment for vinyl running boards & bumpers

What's a good treatment to keep the vinyl coated running boards and bumpers on my Trailblazer looking good?

I tried Back to Black trim treatment (the silicone spray) and while it looked good my wife continually slipping off the running board has caused significant marital strife!
 
I use Poorboy's Trim Restorer on my Explorer's running boards. I apply, wait about 15-20 minutes, then buff well with a cotton towel.
