Treat your client like crap, offer poor service and get paid anyway!

That's a good price, how long did it take? And how much input did he/she need? I'm kinda on the market for logo design.

First, I need to clear up another issue... :nixweiss

Yea thats a pic of one of the proofs. That isn't the final. I caught that and it was changed before it went to print.

I got my logo here - LOGO

Awesome site! I will definitely use it. Previous quotes for me were $400+

BTW- are your hits doing well? I got 13 today. One was looking for 'Exclusive detailing' and mine was the only detail co. to come up! :2thumbs: :getdown

New card looks great, I agree that I'd move your logo up on the front. Not a fan of the wording do you have a backup slogan? The suggestion of the left justification is a good one, the text you have is well thought out. Very professional, do show us the final version.

Wow, US guys charge 800 bucks for a single postcard design?

I think that's a Porsche BTW... Steep roofline with bulging rear fenders...

Don't like the tagline though... Sorry.

Thanks everybody for your opinions. (I didn't know I was going to get beat up over my tag line!!-LOL)

I ended up with 4 different cards and I had a hard time comming up with 4 tag lines.

Joe,

If you ever need design work done I had my logo created by CkretAjint and he did a great job! He worked with me till I was happy, gave me plenty of options...and the price was perfect! I cant wait until I run out of business cards so I can have more made up with the logo he made me!

I'll jump on the bandwagen here, and tell you what I think about the tagline; It's seems to have some sexual connotations, and to imply infidelity as well. I don't think it's as classy as your business is, and should be portrayed. Seems a little to ti**ie-bar(ish), IMHO. The rest of it looks great, wish the ones I already have coming in the mail looked so good...

Thanks for all the input.

I wanted the tag line to mean that I will put all the skill, labor and passion into your car like I do mine.

I am not a copywriter by profession. That came from my heart. More people dislike it than do like it.

It will be third in a string of 4 cards that each person on the emailing list will get. When all 4 are put together it tells kind of a little story. I am hoping it paints a picture of how I want Superior Shine to be seen.

Again, thanks all for taking the time to reply to this thread.

That's a cool idea. I have just come up with my third idea for postcards. I was thinking about shuffling the different designs around to each list that I have, kinda like what you're doing.

Gonna try out the rule that I read read somewhere from a former salesman about contact everyone 7 times. So i guess I will use current lists for a while, then buy more.

Multiple version of cards is a good idea.

In our shop, we have around 6-8 different card designs, but mostly, it's only the car in the background and "effects" that differs, not the context.

We give out "Honda" cars if we give them to Honda clubs/owners, and so on and so forth.

In addition, we print our "cards" directly to matte/silk photopaper from the usual photo developing shops.

You get sharp, full colour printing at very low cost.
