I had a friend call me up that wants his car done and asked that I do the detail for him. I would have to fly to get to him. 1) If I check my bag will my stuff clear security and 2) How should I go about packing everything so it it safe. Really want to do this detail for my buddy but am afraid I will not be able to give him the satisfaction and quality because I don't think I will be able to do as great a job as if I could drive to him.

What do you guys think?

When you pack the clay stick a bunch of wires in it and a stop watch. Kidding! Check the TSA site for the best answers. For what it cost to even check bags any more you might want to just ship the products to him and have them waiting when you arrive.

That is a good idea just have to see how much everything ends up weighing. I will have to try to be a minimalist with what I take. This will be a good test.

BOBD-

Where in Michigan are you located? (If you don't mind me asking)

I'm in Wyandotte, which is south of Detroit.

I am in Toledo. Do you do any jobs in the Toledo area. Next fall I might have to hit you up and see how you are marketing yourself to people around here. You have the insight that I need.

We ride to Maumee a lot and stop off at Honda East.
