Newbie here. Just bought a new car 2002 VW Passat and want to take real good care fo the finish. Joined the forum today and have read lots of good information. One things I can't seem to find with a search is; where can I buy this 303 protectant stuff. Does Wal-Mart sell this or do I have to go to a Detail Supply source? Also, who makes this stuff? Thanks..and I apoligize for such a remedial question.
 
Welcome! CMA carries a lot of the good stuff discussed in the forums. Plus, the occaisionally give discouts for Autopians (last one ended in January :( )

Yup, sold them by the gallon at California RV Center here in Burbank.
 
I go to a boater's store all the time to get the (16 oz??) spray bottle. You can go to the 303 website and they can tell you where a 303 dealer is. The boat store also has the 303 Fabric Guard. :up
 
I have a small pop-up camper, and I just got a gallon of 303, to use on the vinyl curtains and my truck, from campingworld.com for around 40 bucks, and a dollar shipping. I'm a member of their club, so I get a discount. You will have to pay more than that, but if your a member that's the price.

By the way, the $1,.00 shipping is also for a limited time. I guess I was just lucky.

The cheapest I've seen it locally was at a boat and RV place for $22.00 a quart, + tax. Quite a difference, I'd say! Enjoy!
 
Thanks Bill. :D I appreciate the tip on Campingworld.com. Their price is by far the best I've seen on this stuff. CMA wants over $67 for a gallon...plus big bucks for shipping. I bought a gallon at campingworld.com for $43.97 plus $1 for shipping. This is the non-member price. Thanks again.

I found it at Camping World for a good price. RVers use a lot of the 303 protectant for it's UV protective properties. They currently have the gallon size 303 on sale for $43.97. If you are a camping world member you can get the gallon for <strong class='bbc'>$39.57 ![/b] That's the best deal I have seen to date. :xyxthumbs

What a deal on 303!! I bought it with another member and split it 50-50, $64 for a gallon from a popular detailing site . . .
 
Glad to hear some fellow Autopian's are getting in on the deal. It's always nice to save a little money once in a while. Now I can buy some more MF, or Big Blue towels!

Let's see, I gave a quart of 303, in a new spray bottle, to both of my son-in laws, That leaves me 2 quarts. AT $40.00 for the gallon, the 2 quarts left are $20.00 a quart. Hummmmm..., where did I save me any money? Oh well, we'll get 'em in the late rounds. All kidding aside, I'm glad I could help. Enjoy!

Naw, no unmarried daughters right now, but stick around. After all marriage is something you only do 3 or 4 times in a life time, so enjoy it! What goes around, comes around as they say! Enjoy!
 
Use 303 on the dash and you can use Lexol on tires but after using 303 on my dash I switched and I use it on my tires too.
 
Got my gallon from Camping world today, took four days and only $1 shipping what a great price, thanks for the heads up.
