  • DP glass restorer for water spots removal
  • DP polymer sealant on glass
  • Menz Powerlock on paintwork, topped with Collinite 476s
  • LC CCS pads - White, Orange, HT tangerine
  • menzerna 203s, Sonax 4-4,
  • DA polisher (first time use :dblthumb2:)
  • Spot sanding with mirka 2000 grit as needed, with good ol' Makita doing the job
  • Bilt Hamber clay (Regular)
  • Local car shampoo and APC mix
  • MF towels
  • a few brushes

ZC, given you locale, I think I would have attacked with a coating. I suspect it would hold up much better than the DP sealant. I'm not knocking the DP Sealant, I have it in my supply and like it a lot , but your environment + the sun has to be an intimidating factor!

Car came out great, BTW :) Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your comments. I agree with you. We are just a small island and if you live by the sea side you have to add "salt" flavor to it. B)


Just used the DP sealant on the glass after I took care of the waterspots with the DP glass restorer.

The paint was finished with Menz PowerLock topped with 476s

Excellent work. Did the power lock need time to cure before exposure to water? I haven't used it but it's highly regarded.
