Touch up paint

Hey everyone, I am soon to be getting a new car, and I scoped out the body thoroughly and found some blemishes that I need to ask about. It appears that the car was keyed and then touch up was used to cover it. Now how can one go about taking care of these touch ups. Meaning is there a way to blend them better with the paint. Also one door is VERY slightly faded. The paint has a slight slight roughness to it. I have never used the Meguiars ColorX product, but I do have a bottle of it, would this work for something like that or should it just get a good buff.

Move on and find a car without problems :) This is coming from someone who has been waiting months for the right car... If it's not the way I want it already...I won't get it.

Believe me Ive been waiting over 2 months for the right car. I wasn't sold on the body, but the interior was amazing. I will just have to cope with whats wrong with it, and try some different things to help it out. The dealer I had looking for me has had no luck at all finding me the car that I want so, I told myself to get over being so picky. Test drove it and loved it so that was the decision.

I would see if any of your friends are detailingly inclined, and if so just throw a couple dollars their way and let them work their magic. Remember the best medicine for a hurting paint is always a trained detailer. Also good to hear you found a car, a friend of mine recently bought a 99 GTI VR6 that he wanted for around 2 months, i hope you like it as much as he does.
