TOTL's Odor Fogger

Privitize it
I just got the Odor Fogger kit from TOTL. It's the complete kit ($355). I tried it out and a really nasty smelling Grand Am. It comes with a manual to identify and then gives the steps for treatment. Step1- This was a food smell so I took the injector and injected the seats with the counteractant. Then went over with a spray bottle and liberally sprayed down the carpet, seats, and headliner. Step 2 was a leather scented counteractant, and was sprayed the same way as Step 1. Step 3 is the fogger. I turned the car on and cycled the AC/Heater controls fogging under the dash, fogged the seats, carpet headliner, under the seats, pretty much anywhere there's fabric. I then gave it one more blast through the AC intake under the dash and then pointed the fogger toward the middle of the car and gave it a 5 second blast. After that I shut the door....it looked like Cheech and Chong were inside at this point. After letting it sit for an hour, I wiped down the interior and cleaned the windows, it's oil based so it leaves a light film on everything. The smell was completely gone. I checked the car today on the lot (2 days later) and still no sign of the smell returning.

For those looking to do dealer work, this would be an excellent addition to your business. I'm getting $40 per vehicle, and it only takes 15-20min of actual working time. There was no hessitation at the $40 price so I'm sure I could get more elsewhere. Those doing dealer work know that it's not profitable, but it's steady work, adding some extras like this can make doing dealerwork worthwhile. I'm going to be adding a carpet dying kit by spring time and may expand into interior repairs if that works out. This guy that comes around and does interior repairs gets $45 to dye a spot!

It's an awesome set-up. I just reordered Microban and UnDuzIt. I can get out any odor and the syringes come in real handy for mold in the padding, etc. It's a nice package and really rounds off the services we can offer.

Wow. Are there any other systems out there such as this? Very easy to use for the first time? I always wondered what exactly interior repairs involved.

Sounds like a good solution for curing those nasty smells . I wonder how long the treatment last.

The treatment should last forever because you are actually killing the bacteria that cause the nasty odor!
