Totally Odor/Chemical-Free

I have a friend that needs his car detailed. He was in an industrial accident a few years ago and you can't even be around him if you've showered recently, or if you're wearing deodorant. We also make our own laundry detergent so that we can be around him without causing a reaction.

I can use just light dish soap with water, but I was trying to figure out if there were any cleaners that would allow me to clean the carpets that don't involve, or give off an odor. I did a quick search with google, but didn't yield and helpful results.

I hope this is the right forum for this topic...

I just checked with him and it seems that Folex, for a spot remover has no odor and may not cause any issues. It also works very well. My wife makes our own laundry detergent and I was curious about using that for the upholstery. Any thoughts on a really mild liquid laundry soap for upholstery?

Thanks guys. Could really use help on this.

I'll be saving up for a steam cleaner soon. I'm just getting back into detailing and need to get some equipment back together. I'll check out Pro Chem in the mean time. Thanks.

Woolite and water diluted as needed for the job at hand. I had one regular that was allergic to everything (real or imagined) and it worked like a charm with no reaction from her. It works on practically everything on the interior from leather to fabric to plastics & carpet. I couldn't even use window cleaner on the interior windows. A wet microfiber towel followed by a dry one was the solution.

It's cheap, it works, no smell or harsh chemicals. By the way it's the original formula Woolite.
