Totaled the truck

Was on the interstate and was changing lanes to get to my exit. I looked right and when I looked left the car in my lane was on his brakes hard and about 10ft from me... my thought was, "****, I'm going too fast. I'm going to hit it." Afterwards he said someone cut him off and he had to hit his brakes hard to keep from hitting them.



I hit the car and it ripped the driverside wheel off my truck including the brakes... Threw my truck hard right and into another car... when I finally could see again after the airbags I was sliding all the way across the interstate (5 lanes) and was thinking, "Ohh ****, here comes the guard rail"



Pics to come Monday when I see my truck again.



I'm sore but think I'm alright. Face burned from airbag and seatbelt caught me hard.

I'm glad you're OK man! That sounds like quite a ride for an afternoon drive. Look at the bright side, now you can get one of the NEW F-150's!

Wow, sorry to hear about you're accident. Thank goodness you're okay, that's what really matters.
 
Props to you for wearing a seat belt. SOme people don't have enough sense to do so!

lol... nah, wish I could get pictures of the other vehicles involved ;)



Probably about ford since I'm going to try to use X-plan. I'll see though and know more what I can get as the week goes on.

No doubt in my mind I wouldn't have walked away from it if I didn't have a seatbelt. The airbag saved me from the steering wheel too.



Glad I make it a habbit of putting on the seatbelt everytime I'm in a vehicle. I felt strange driving without it on and I guess that's the way it should be.
