Space Grey, the Barbara Red is certainly a sweet color but honestly I think I would get sick of it after a while, plus it looks kinda weird on a Bimmer sedan IMO.

The Space Grey, while maybe not that exciting, will look better in a few years.

I think the barbera red - my Audi is a slightly redder shade and is a superb colour for detailing - looks amazing when done, without so many of the drawbacks of black. Gets comments EVERYWHERE.

My Saab is pretty much the same as the grey, and while its classy and sensible, its also a bit dull TBH, and I think you'll see them everywhere quite quickly, although not as clean and shiny obviously ;) The grey might be the better bet for resale though...

I voted for Space Gray...

Gray cars are less likely to be pulled over by the members of the thin blue line...

Flat Red: almost a cliche imo.

Dark Red: I dunno.. it's cool, but I like the others more.

Metallic Grey: I think that's a bad pic of that color, but I think it's an excellent one.

I voted for the Silver/Blue. It's very unique compared to cars overall, I love blue, and I just think it looks excellent in that picture, haha.

But it would really be a tie between the latter two for me.

Space Grey is definitely nice. I don't like it quite as much as the former Sparkling Graphite, but still very nice.

My only concerns with space grey are:

- will it be too common? (perhaps not AS common as silver, white & black)

- while being easy to maintain and not show dirt and scratches (as much as darker colors), the flip side of that is will it still show off the effort of a good detail? One of the things I don't like about silver and white typically is the difference between merely "clean" and well-detailed is subtle.

I've always liked RED in general but I wonder if crimson red might be TOO attention grabbing for this car. Do owners of RED cars get more speeding tickets? Higher instance of vandalism? :nervous2:

- Not in my experience. I've worked on a lot of 335i's, and the jet black/black sapphire and white alpine guys far outnumber the space grey/sparkling graphite guys. I don't see a lot of SG or TiAG coupes. I see a lot of TiAG sedans.

- That's a tough one. I don't think Space Grey shows off the efforts of a good detail as well as Crimson, JB, BS, Monico or even Montego. That's definitely one of it's downsides.

I'd say yes on crimson and attention. It's tougher to maintain and definitely looks amazing when done right, but keeping in line with that is the attention. It's a tough call.

Wow I'm surprised so many people like Barbara Red. I guess it's just my opinion and I'm also 16 so I'm not as mature, I want something to look sharp and sporty. IMO go for the Crimson Red. Is it the same as Imola Red? My favourite hands down is Imola Red. Soooo sexy.

Space grey says yuppie business corporate tool.

Crimson Red is way too...red

Baby Blue is -well, gay.

and so is Barbaro Red.

Black. Walk into the showroom look at it in black, you'll choose it, and be happy you did so.

(Just Kidding, Any Color BMW is good. Though to me, BMW and Euro cars in general seem to lean on the serious side. It seemed like during the E46 run BMW had a million shades of grey-blue and only occasionally would you see a brighter color. )

Not liking any of them, maybe the barbera, but id go with met. black personal prefrence, its my favorite car color, and although hard to maintain looks amazing when its cleaned up nice

Also the coupe looks nicer but you probably have your reasons for going with the sedan.

Out of all of those colors, I would say either barbera red or space grey. I have a 5 series in space grey and it looks awesome. It hides dirt well and really sparkles when clean. Now if they can only do something about BWM brake dust! Attached is a picture of what space grey looks like in sun light.

Hmm my neighbors have two 5 series in space grey... one of them is brand new and it looks dull already. But they dont do much to clean them just run it through a machine i guess, hides scratches well. But doesnt seem to shine just looks kinda dull and bland.

And dont get the bmw tec or whatever the vinyl seats are... the neighbors older 5 has really ugly looking seats and im assuming theyre the vinyl, i hope, because theyre uglier then the vinyl seats of a ford e or f series.

It might have been mbtec, not sure what bmws vinyl seats are called, but i probably sound like an idiot.
