Topper & UPP: How To Maintain?

After doing an NXT wash, AIO, and UPP, UGE I took my car into the rain and noticed that there was a little beading, but not much. Is that to be expected? That UPP won't bead like wax?

In a month or 2 when I do a full routine again I'd like to add a carnuba topper like LS over the UPP, but I'm unsure how to maintain this.

Do I wash and then just re-LS monthly? Would S&G be ok to use over the LS as a QD?

As you can tell, I'm uncertain how to maintain a carnuba and so any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

You can add the LS over the UPP, but you can't add any more UPP. You will lose some slickness, and LS seems to attract quite a bit of dust for me when I used it over UPP. To upkeep after you add the LS, you can just add more LS like you stated.

Did you take the car out in the rain immediately after applying UPP and UGE? If so, that's probably not a good idea as UPP didn't have enough time to fully cure before being exposed to the rain. UPP beads very well for me, especially in the rain.

Maybe try going over it with Gloss Enhancer once a week or so?
