Too much?

Like I wrote in this thread I'm currently using Carlack (the original KLASSE) and afterwards apply a layer of Meguiars NXT generation tech wax. Is this tautologous or does it make sense? The car shines very nice after applying Carlack but I'm used to apply a final layer of wax. Does this further improve the paint protection or is it senseless?

Thanks for your comments :)

~One manâ€â„¢s opinion / observations~

I thought that Carlack was the German packaging for Klasse (when I first started using it in England â€Ëœ60s it was sometimes packaged as Carlack and sometimes as Klasse (both in tin metal containers Klasse was red and gray Carlack was a gold/yellow).

Applying a polymer on top of another polymer product â€Ëœmayâ€â„¢ provide a longer durability due to a thicker âہ“layerâ€â„¢, I donâ€â„¢t know, but if it gives you a â€Ëœlookâ€â„¢ you prefer more power to you.

Many detailers apply a Carnauba wax over a polymer (the wax provides a sacrificial barrier) IMO a polymer like Klasse gives a flat shiny plastic look, whereas Klasse with a Carnauba wax on top gives the paint a depth

(But then the aesthetics of a vehicles appearance is very subjective to say the least)

~Hope this helps~
