I personally picked up two of each of the 7" Propel pads except for the orange ... two grey, blue, green, and yellow. That way, if I dropped one, got some crud on it, or decided to try another product on the same pad, I had a spare. And while I haven't dropped a pad yet, there have been times where I've changed product and used the second pad. So, if you can swing it, I'd recommend two of at least the ones you plan on typically using.

I'll be putting in an order for the 4" turbo pads soon, and I'll be doing the same thing with them (2 of each) as with the 7" pads.

Now, you technically will have 2 each of the different pads (4" and 7"), so I guess you could just stay with that to save money as long as you're willing to change backing plates (not a big deal with the PC).

Having one of each pad should be fine. If you ever need to switch products mid-detail, it's easy to clean the pad out. hot water, some dish soap, a minute of massaging, rinse it, and then spin dry it on the PC @ speed 3. 5-10 minutes and you're ready to go. I personally have more pads than I think I could ever use... 5 4" polishing pads, 4 7" polishing pads, a few large and small cutting pads, blah blah blah. Patrick loves me :(

ok i think i might be going overboard now:

Propel 4'' Spoiledman Turbo Kit(8 pads and plate)

6'' Propel Backing Plate

2 - Propel Yellow Med. Cut Pad

2 - Propel Green Light Cut Pad.

2 - Propel Blue Light-Polishing Pad

2 - Propel Grey Finishing Pad

(A3) Poorboys World SSR2.5 - Medium Abrasive (16 oz)

(A1) Poorboys World SSR1 - Light Abrasive (16oz)

EX-P Polymer sealant (16 oz)

Nattys Blue Paste Wax 8oz.

MF towels and ect.

the reason i changed some stuff is cause i see that the The Propel Ultimate Pad Sampler Kit is no longer availabe. and having two pads does make sense. maybe ill just get one of each, then when i get different products, ill get more pads. or ill keep them at 2 of each then that will "force" me to get more supplies.

My blue and green pads are the ones that get used the most. If anything, I would drop the gray pads. But that just depends on whether you plan to use the PC to apply LSPs. I prefer to do that by hand, so it's all a matter of preference.
