TOO HOT !!!



Spent 11 hours detailing this 42’ cigarette boat. The current owner sold the boat about 3 years ago and acquired it again and wanted it bought back up to standard for this upcoming summer.



Exterior:



Wash:



Buffing the gel coat required a 3 step process with Hi temps HCL followed by Hi temps fine cut and sealed with Meguiars #20. The artwork on this boat is pretty amazing !!!

Interior:



All vinyl cleaned with Meguiars APC diluted 15:1.

All vinyl dressed with Vinylex from lexol.

The gauges were all cleaned with Sprayaway glass cleaner as well as the center console.

Front windshield was hand polished with Plexus.

The floor was vacuumed then cleaned by hand with the APC solution also also.

I love any high-performance powerboat. Cigarettes and Apaches are my fav's. Do you happen to know what motors are hidding under the hatch? I see staggered intake scopes.

Will Megs 20 hold up in Marine use??? I've read that most car products just don't last very long in the water (well except for colinte that crossed over).

A '42 foot super high powered gas sucking pleasure use only toy, called cigarette, with naked ladies plastered all over it. Tottally politically incorrect, but pretty cool. I bit too load and over the top for my style, which is fine because I couldn't really afford it anyway.

Cost about $1k a weekend in gas !!! I agree it is totally politically incorrect. The owner is a self made very successful small business man and is a GREAT GUY and GREAT friend !!!



There are many a day I wish I could be be a bit more politically incorrect like him, and not worry so much about what others think.
