On the positive side: I learned some interesting, factual information about what can and cannot be shipped via USPS. This information is in almost complete conflict with what the people behind the counter would have you believe.

Well Tom looks like I must be lucky as the person at my local USPS office just asks me a few questions. thanks for the info as we all know what really is legal to send. like to say that even though it was very complicated I for one feel you handled the auction well. not sure if it could have been done better. was a nice change of pace also. hope others appreciate it too. :getdown

When I shipped some Z samples last week the PO asked it it was liquid or flammable. I simply said- liquid in sealed containers and inside a ziplock bag. No problems

It's weird, they have very specific flash point critera. I think it's a concern if the flashpoint is between 140F and 200F.
