Today's Detail v. Jet Boat!! (Lots of pics...56k no)

Greg--- Yea i figured as new as it was and with oxidation already on it the gelcoats are probably very hard to maintain. The gelcoat was very very thirsty....just soaked up anything I put on it!!! Hopefully I got enough oils and waxes on it to last for a good bit...I think he is gonna put it in the garage for the rest of this year.

Salty--- please forgive my stupidty but what is OW?

that is a gorgeous boat! GREAT job on the detail too. Looks amazing.... how much does a boat like that cost... and how fast does something like that go? lol

Retails around $27,000 I believe. The owner said he either got it up to 55mph or it can go that fast, dont remember the exact...but 55mph on water is fast enough! :)

Sorry 01bluecls

I should have said OCW. Optimum Wax.

Because once you have a 'fine' surface, it is easy to protect, especially a boat. I hate doing boats.

Is that 55 mph, Canadian or American speed?

just joking, but 90kph sounds faster
