To Prime Or Not

You can do either or. IMO I would use the Prime first as it will remove any oils left behind by the nano polish and will make the surface perfect for proper bonding of the AJ.

Will it be a complete failure if you dont use it, no.

AJT works fine over polishes assuming they aren't too oily but you will get best durability using Prime as the base.

I believe you will get the best look and durability applying Prime before AJT. It will remove any oils, prepares the surface for the LSP, and leaves some acrylic protection of its own. It's easy to apply/remove too.

Just got the Prime done today. Perhaps I was doing something wrong, but this stuff dusted worse than anything I have ever used. Applied with a pc using a CMA constant pressure red pad running at speed 5. Also...every rock chip now has white product in it. Otherwise, the car looks great. What is the best way to clean the rock chips without removing any of the nano particles that are there?

Prime is sensational at giving a mirror perfect glass clarity and good wetness

However I've only applied it by rotary and kept it at 1000 rpm

It of course shouldn't be worked like an abrasive polish

Usually a damp MF towel will remove any residue.

If Prime dusted, you used way too much. 3-4 small dots is enough for each section. Work it until it clears out. Should be no dust and very little visible excess needed to be removed.

I did by UDM on speed 3 with a SFX finishing pad, as Scott says with a few drops per panel. I didnt work it until it went clear but gave it 3-4 passes per panel, and didnt get any dust. Small spray of Glos on each panel and it buffed right off, ready for AJT :D
