To polish or not to polish?

That is the question. I am planning on doing my winter prep on Tuesday, and am debating if I should polish the paint or just clay it and throw on some PNS.

The reason why I may not is because I'm thinking in the spring I will end up coating the car. The car is in pretty good shape minus two or three slight problem areas from those lovely random things that do happen.

What would you do and why?

Clean it and coat it.


IMO there is no real good reason to polish a car before winter unless your getting paid to. I always simply clean it up and do my winter prep. Polishing comes in the spring.

correction, it's anything below 68 degrees for central and south florida.
45 degrees is for north florida. :snow:
