He is resigning in Nov...NOW...He should resign now and let New Jersey voters vote in Nov elections.for new Gov...one willget hand pick and stay till next elections...

Whatever the circumstances you have to admire his honesty - he could have just stepped down for personal reasons - or denied the whole thing. You have to think his wife knew at some point for her to stand up there with him.
 
well that part is not honest

but again her standing there looking proud - you have to guess she knew. He was honest about who he is, and why he was stepping down.

I try not to voice my opinions on this forum unless it has to do with detailing, but sometimes I do spout off. I'm afraid this is going to be one of those times.

I'm getting very tired of such things as the following:

Someone in the article was quoted as saying "Coming out is a deeply personal journey". Hogwash. His little journey is hurting many others! I guess they forgot to mention that part!

We are everyone of us guilty of making wrong choices in life. But I for one am not going to celebrate someone's choice that hurts others any more than I would my own bad choices in life. To excuse it is hypocritical and disgusting in my opinion.

Honesty?! The only reason he was "honest" is because of an impending law suit from his former gay lover whom he gave a high paying high powered job to in the Jersey Goveernment. It is politics of the worst kind. His lover was given the job, spending money, a car and an appartment 1/8 mile from McGreedy's house so he could be close for booty calls.

This McGreedy's whole political lofe has been marred with scandal including when he was mayor. He has alleged mob ties and has been taking kickbacks and involved in cooersion his whole political career.

To praise him for his honesty or anything for that matter is rediculous!!!

Pataki is a great man and Jersey should be so lucky!!!

Honesty? Honesty? If he knew he was gay all his life then why did he marry twice? Nevermind,I'm stayin' out of it!
