Thank you, all who sacrificed your lives, your sweethearts, children, parents, families, and friends on this day, December 7, 1941, 74 years ago at Pearl Harbor..
I have been to the Memorial at Pearl Harbor before and it is - well I cannot fully describe the feeling there when you look down through that clear water and see the remains of this huge warship underneath your feet, and think about all those lives there and throughout the harbor and base that were here one minute and then gone the next.. It is like you are standing on a holy place..
In honor of my dear Father and his 4 Brothers, and the men and women who were there, I have watched the National Geographic DVD of Arlington National Cemetery, an incredibly well done humble documentary of what goes on there every day and night of the year...
May you all, continue to rest in peace, may you always know how much we love you, admire you, miss you, and thank you for all that you sacrificed - even your very lives, for us..
We are so grateful and thankful... We will all rejoice with you when we see you again...
