Titanium Grey Volvo V70R on Zaino

Here are some pics of a Turkey Day weekend polishing/detailing I did on my 2004 V70R.

This my second go around with Zaino on this car. I've tried AIO/SG, NXT, P21S, most recently UPP for the last six months. I liked the durability of the old Zaino but wanted a little more pop. The new Z2 pro is definitely a step up from the old Z2. Similar to UPP in wetness but I hope this lasts a little longer. Here was my method:

1) Wash w Z7

2) Clay during wash

3) Polished with ZPC using polishing pad and PC set at 5

4) 2x Z2pro (w/ ZFX) with Z6 in between

5) Z8

6) Forever Black on Trim

7) Mothers Reflections Tire Dressing

All in all not too bad looking for a 2 year old car.

Looks like a very "wagon" kind of neighborhood (never seen that many in one driveway/street pic!) ;)

Your's is obviously the nicest, though :xyxthumbs

 Wow, very nice!

Even though learning to drive in a white Ford Country Squire with fake wood paneling on the side has probably scared me for life, I could make an exception for a wagon as good looking as that one! :)

shimmering reflections. You caught the light with the Zaino to provide us with a picture of a very nice detail.

Thanks for all the nice comments on the wagon.

Drewski: Amazing that you could tell I had a clear bra--I can't see it in those pics--even in person its hard to tell its there except up close.

Beach: My neighbor has the other two wagons. He keeps telling me that I'm going to rub the paint off my car washing it as much as I do.

GmBlack: Funny I did have a minivan before this but I traded it in for the V70R--300 hp stealth mobile that is a lot more fun to drive than a minivan!

Audicoupe: Yes I have the 6speed manual. I prefer manuals and in this car Volvo rev limited the automatic version in low gears making it considerably slower than the manual.

Pork: The AWD R's are quite sporty cars the 0-60 times for the wagons are quite similar to the S60Rs (high 5 sec range for both--I haven't done this myself but many over at swedespeed have on stock R's). In addition the wagons have a nice stealth factor as well!

With two kids in grade school--this was as sporty as I can do---when they are in college (if I can still afford it  ) I'll go for the Z06 that I really wanted.....

Glad to hear you got the 6 speed, that is how those cars are meant to be driven. The wagon really gives it a Q-ship look, especially with that color. How does it handle with the active suspension?
