Not for nothing, but since the OP stated in his first post he doesn't like shiny tires, why would you recommend a VERY high gloss product to him?

I've used Black Magic Titanium Matte Tire Finish for awhile, but now the local places don't have it... These are what I've found that seem to be matte/satin.

Chemical Guys VRT is what I used on the S10. Its water based so it washes off when you clean your wheels and looks great. Not too much gloss and not too little. Perfect IMO. I dillutes it with a lil bit of water.

The most matte-like tire dressing I have tried is Showroom FX White Pearl (formerly Tropi-care). It leaves a deep black look and seems to have good durability, especially for a water-based dressing. Some think its look is comparable to Swissvax Pneu.
 
I use Opti Bond through a paint sprayer and it's perfect! No extra shine and great protection! Plus it's easy...spray it on and wipe off what little gets on the rims. Plus I can do the wells at the same time!
 
Klasse VRLP: if you like a matte finish for tires, this may be it. Almost flat looking clean black. But it protected my truck tires for 6 months. I didn't believe it either but water was still beading off strongly at that point.



303: nothing new to add, great stuff



FK 108: less sheen than 303 but more than VRLP. Awesome looking. Not as urable as VRLP (what is?) but more so than 303.



AA: applied with a foam tire swipe, it could be my fave until it was replaced by FK108. Very easy to apply. My low profile tires look better with a wetter look. Not so on truck tires though.



Low profile tires need more shine.

High profile tires need more subdued sheen.

What kind of paint sprayer?
 
+1 for 303 Protectant

+1 for Hyperdressing



I myself use 303 Protectant.



For other peoples cars I use Hyperdressing. It is nice because you can dilute it to get whatever effect you want. If you wipe it off immediately it will be matte. If you leave it on it will shine.
 
I like the 3m tire restorer. It's hard to find for some reason, but it gives a nice satin glow, not that fake laquered on shine that eats rubber with continued use.

+1 I live this stuff it lasts 2-3 weeks and is super easy to apply when the tires are clean that is
 
I just use plain ol Armor All, the original. Seems to leave a dark satin look without being dripping wet and it doesn't sling onto the fenders. I just prefer a nice satin finish.

In my eyes the tire gloss really makes the difference. Its really my favorite product. Even a car with swirls looks better if the tires are glossed, imo.



With that said I have tried more tires glosses than I can count on 4 hands and nothing stacks up to zaino. again just my opinion.

Meg's HotShine Aerosol...apply and buff off.



Meg's HyperDressing; diluted 3:1; apply and buff off.



Optimum OptiBond; diluted as-directed (1:1 I think). Apply w/sponge; or spray on/wipe down.



Chem. Guys Silk-Shine...looks a lot like OptiBond but not quite as 'black'.



Black Magic Titanium Matte; available OTC...definitely "matte" with very very minimal sheen to it on most tires. Just satin black.



I've used all of these...OptiBond and SilkShine are my favs; though I think you could prob dilute CG VRT for a little cheaper than the Silk Shine; SS is just already diluted.
