Tire marks on leather..

You may want to post more pictures for a closer scrutiny…the existing situation may still have a good chance to restore the stain either by physical removal or by bleaching it. The whole idea is to retain the colorcoat without resorting to color refinishing. Color matching may not guarantee you a perfect match; that’s the only reason of avoiding it. However topcoat protection is highly recommended after the stain is gone; hopefully the colorcoat is still intact.

Since you think that the colorcoat is still in pretty good condition…you may like to proceed what David Fermani has recommended in Post#5.

Hi Roger, See below. I would really not like to go the dye route for so many reasons. That's why I'm hoping the leather products you sell can remove the tire marks.

Let me know what you think!

Thanks,

These are better pictures and I believe if the stains are also from dyestuff (other than carbon pigment) the result will turn out to be the same as what David has accomplished with the Rolls Royce Phantom leather belt dye stain too.

Anyway you have tried and exhausted the possibilities from other products as well to seek a miracle; luckily the finishes still looks intact; the only chance now is to proceed what David have gone through, is the right direction.

See his review and learn from there: http://www.autopia.org/forum/car-de...leather-ink-dye-stain-removal-kit-review.html

Piece of cake Mike. Give it time to dwel keeping it moist and you'll be amazed. Gone.

Thanks, David. Glad to see you think removal is possible. I purchased the AP3.D kit from Roger earlier this week and I'm excited to see what it can do.
