Tire dressings on off road tires.

I like Z-16 but switch between AA and sometimes Mothers. I have an H2 with those heavy side wall tire treads. It takes me along time to dress in between all those treads. When I use AA i can lightly spray along the whole outside edge of the tire and let in run into the tread. But i always prefer to use Z-16. I thought about using a spary bottle with the Z-16 buts its not too cheap to use that liberly. Any tips or suggestions? :help:
 
I hear you. I'm running Nitto Terra Grappler A/T's on my pickup, and occasionally have a difficult time. I've also run into problems with, for example, Goodyear Eagle GTII's...basically any tire that has those darn vertical slits in the sidewall. Anyway, I use Poorboys BnB and apply with Adam's detailing sponges. Very easy to apply a light coat, and it gets in between the raised sections very well.
 
Meguiar's Hot Shine aeosol spray, or Meg's Hyper Dressing would be ideal. They stay on and last, and are easily applied to large treaded sidewalls.



Hyper Dressing is also pretty economical price wise.

I've thought of using an aerosol type spray, I'm sure it would speed the process up very nicely. Its just that aerosols on those huge H2 tires........I would probably get about 8 -12 tires worth in a can!
 
You're right, it wouldn't be too economical to use the cans, which is why I'd strongly suggest the Hyper Dressing by the gallon. You can dilute it greatly and still achieve the desired look and durability that the Endurance gel and Hot Shine aerosols provide.
 
I'd cut the Z16 with water.





I talked to Sal today about it and he said to play around for a dilution, but it still looks good when cut.





I totally agree with the knobby sidewalls in spraying them...they always pose problems for me.
