Tire Dressing - No Browning

After a lot of searching for my favorite tire dressing I have found AA to be my favorite for a couple of reasons,

its cheap

its easy (I just spray and walk away)

doesn't collect dust

dries dry to the touch

pretty durable (3 weeks strong with 2 weeks of rain)

not too shiny, not too satin

I'd highly recommend against any clear, solvent based dimethyl silicone such as Stoner's and the like. The particulars are a very dead horse subject so I'd recommend doing a search. There is an extensive amount of information here on polydimethylsiloxane ( PDMS) versus dimethyl silicone dressings here.

Bill, any idea where the solvent-based dressings, like Meg's All Season Dressing, and CG's Blue Guard II fall? These are neither white PDMS dressings or clear oily dressings...they are blue and seem to look like windshield washer fluid. They claim more water resistance than the water-based dressings.

Setec, I have no personal experience with them but I seem to recall Bud Abraham mentioning they can be either or. They are just kind of the "outliers" for being blue IIRC.
