Winters here in the Pacific NW are not too cold but it's constantly wet and damp. Snow is minimal and if it does snow, it doesn't stick more than a few days, almost always washed away by the eventual rain. What's a good (read: durable) tire dressing for this type of climate? And how long do you think it will last in constant wet weather? I've never bothered with tire dressings during these horrid months but thought I'd start this year. Or is this a hopeless case? In the drier months, I've used Meg's Endurance Gel, Wolfgang Tire Gel and 303 sometimes. They've been all okay, lasting at most 2 weeks in dry weather.

My friend uses Forever Black from AG. Lasts about 2 months for him. It's a black thick dye rather than a clear or foam type product. He buys it buy the gallon. If I didn't have white letters, I'd be using it.

lately i've been using ultima trim and tire guard this stuff is the longest lasting stuff i've every tried. intally i put three coats on and then didn't touch the tire for 6-8 weeks and several rain storms (the truck is a daily driver) then applied another 2 coats and 4 weeks later and the tires still look great. i wash the truck and wheels with onr weekly or so. i wish i had know about this stuff when i was living in the pnw.

I agree 100%, Using this Ultima Tire and Trim. Last through rain and look great. Water goes not remove it and one thin coat after washing look awesome. I was and re apply about once a week. The last few weekends have been too cold so I skipped the wash and the tires look great.
