Tire Dressing Combo

I have settled on the perfect mix of tire dressing for a medium shine and great durability.

I spray the EO foam tire applicator with a couple sprays of PoorBoys Bold n Bright then I lay a strip of Endurance Gel (non-glossy) down the length of the applicator, then apply it to the tire. The Bold n Bright is thin, so it makes the dressing apply smooth and evenly. The Endurance gives it durability. No sling, and the tires seem to stay pretty clean and don't attract much dirt.

If you happen to have the products sitting around you should give it a try.

I don't have any good pics of the results. I'll take some once the weather clears up.

Very interesting. How would you rate the shine to just the Bold n' Bright? I love my BnB, but I would like a little more gloss out of it.

I've done many tire dressing combos and in standalone over the years with hopes in extending durability. Never could go beyond 2-3 weeks and if you drive in rain forget it. Meg #42 Rubber Treatment and the original Black Again by Rhino Industries in combo were the best from my heydays. Both products are no longer available. Nowadays I've used or use One Grand EVR, 3M's TD, Reflections, AA Original, Z-16, Z-16P. The most durable so far for my tires is Z-16 Pro then AA, then Z-16.

Tropi-Cares "Silicone Free" Tire/Rubber Dressing TC-15SF has out lasted anything I've ever used before, hands down.

Sounds like a good dressing combination for you. I'm finding Mother's FX and Reflections are really holding up well after a couple of weeks. No slinging and the tires are still nice and black.

I have used the Duragloss TMD (Tire & Mat Dressing) and have great results from it...it lasts..and no browning..slinging...and not to glossy but enough to show it is there...extra coats may bring it to a real glossy look..but I prefer a semi gloss..not matte but some gloss...

They also have Duragloss NSD (Non Silicone Dressing) which is nice also...gives it the new tire shine...also good for interiors for a nice look ..not greasy looking but a new look...

Ive just about tried them all and im stuck on megs high endurance high gloss gel. I love the stuff.

I am also pretty high on Megs High Endurance. I haven't tried very many tire dressings but so far Megs is my pick.

It lasted over 2 weeks, through a couple car washes, several hard rain storms and a long road trip.

The shine is better than just BnB alone, but not too glossy. The BnB seems to keep the Endurance thin enough that it won't "cake up" around the letters or sidewall tread.

my neighbor let me borrow a free sample he got of armol all extreme shine gel, and his bottle of extreme shine spray, its been on for 5 days through one day of rain and still looks great, not too greasy. Not too expensive for the stuff either, i think im gonna buy a bottle of the extreme shine gel. It seems to last longer than my combo now...(megs endurance, stoners more tire less shine)
