Tire Detailing

Did Scottwax really recommend Armor All?

I believe he did, and for good reason. Armor All Original is surprisingly good stuff, especially the most recent formulas of it. It won our tire dressing category - 10+ people blindly applied and evaluated the product over a period of 3 weeks and found it to be the best of 50+ products tested.

I really like how it looks; it's a great value and it's readily available. It also proved fairly durable and had a nice, matte finish.

Who else did well in the tire dressing category?

High Gloss Finish - Megs Hot Shine (non aerosol), I've had it on my wifes car exactly 12 days and it's just starting to lose it's shine but still looks deep black. Note this is SoCal no rain durability so take for what it's worth.

Satin Finish - Megs NXT Tech Protectant. No streaks, seems to restore it's appearance after sitting 12 hours and hasn't faded in 200 miles. Again SoCal weather.
