You can get a great deal on E1 wheel cleaner if you do your homework.
Go to the store, they now have bottles with a coupon strip that has 5 coupons for $1 off a bunch of products from E1 including the wheel cleaner. Now take the coupon strip, about the size of a postage stamp off the bottle its good for right now.
But then grab another bottle, with another coupon strip and put the other bottle back on the shelf. Use the $1 off coupon now, this brings the price down to 3.99 a bottle. If your at AutoZone sign up for the rewards card, for every $20 you spend they give you a punch on a card, after you get 5 punches ( easy if your buying synthetic oil etc) you get a $20 gift card.
Trick is make all your purchases just $20 or a buck over, a $40 purchase doesn't get you two punches on that card. This works out to be 20% off when you spend $100
Take that $3.99 - 20% just over $3 bucks a bottle. Best part is you have the coupons for the next time around.
If you cheap like me you will use items that are free after rebate to get that card punched, really easy and some great products like Megs wheel cleaner, Techron, oil filters. You get the $20 gift card and the product FREE.
I have about 30 bottles of megs and 20 of E1 right now I may have paid 20 bucks or less for each brand.... buy two get one free on the megs cleaner also at pep boys right now. I have found that after years of being a E1 fanatic the new Megs is a really great product, seems to be less toned down than the new version of E1.
You have to be crafty but the deals can be done, hope this helps.
Last night I picked up 6 bottles of the new Chevron Fuel additive, PureScape, Free! Also got a gallon or so of E1 car wash Free and $6 bucks back on Megs foam applicators, they only cost 9 for 6 two packs of them so I paid 50 cents each. Not a bad deal.
You have to watch for the deals, right now pep boys and autozone are killing each other here with deals......
