Tire application -- Aerospace 303 Protectant?

If you don't like a shiny finish, Zaino Z16 is a very nice tire dressing. Doesn't sling, looks even, nice black matte finish.

I'm not a Zaino guy but I have the Z16 and really like it.

Alfisti - what product are you talking about?

Personally I've had great success with PB's Bold N Bright dressing.

Me too! B&B is great and lasts through rains. A light coat will leave it dull black, heavier or double coats will give you satin black to high gloss black.

It won't sling if you let it dry for about 15-30 minutes.

Tried Hi-Tech Grape and Meg's Endurance. Both seemed to be chemically nasty, and Grape didn't last long. Endurance was better, but it seemed like I should be wearing a toxic waste cleanup suit when using it.

I've never tried more than 1 coat with BnB since I've always been happy with that. Maybe I'll try to add another coat to see what it can do, hehe.

I'm happy with one moderate application, as it gives me a nice satin-to-gloss look.

My wife really slathers it on, and her tires are really glossy. But you should know that after she does her tires, the car doesn't move for a minimum of about 14 hours, so slinging is never a problem.

Just like with LSPs, people really like varying 'looks.' I like a new tire sort of look: black with just the slightest touch of gloss.

303 was fine, but went away fast and never really looked crisp and sharp.

Z16 is very nice, and the tire stays looking good for weeks.

A cheap option is Majestic PolyShine. Bit blotchier than Z16, so you need to fuss just a bit more with it than the Z. And it doesn't provide as rich a look. But still pretty good.

None of these go brown or degrade the tire rubber.

I usually use Poorboys B n B for tires, but I do use 303 on the truck. It makes the tires look like new, not shiny/wet looking.

I routinely use 303 AP for my tires. I've tried many of the other OTC products, but the 303 gives me the best "clean" look I'm going for. It is NOT shinny or wet looking, but makes the tires look "new".

Never tried 303 , but I have a feeling it won't last very long. I've tried so much stuff, and I don't have a favorite. Really depends on my mood.
