So is it okay to spray QD (ONR) to help remove the wax or no? (collinite 476)
I've never tried doing that, so this is just an educated guess... but no, I wouldn't use ONR for this.
When removing LSP residue (as opposed to polish residue) you don't want or need cleaning/encapsulation; rather, you want *minimal* solvent-action (the least that'll do the job) with *maximum* lubricity...so a QD would be a better choice. I wouldn't even use a "strong cleaning" QD such as FK146.
For removing *wax* residue, *IF* (big "if") you really need to use a QD it probably means that you misapplied the wax somehow. Probably too thick an application, or maybe a dry/damp applicator was used when a damp/dry one was called for. Or maybe the underlying surface wasn't properly prepped. But whatever the cause (sorry, didn't mean to go on a rant

), for removing *wax* residue I'd lean towards a "wax"-type QD, such as Griot's SpeedShine, which does work great for this (even when it's not really *necessary*).
For removing a *sealant* residue, I'd lean towards a "synthetic"-type QD such as FK425 or a BlackFire/4-Star UGE/etc. These also work well for me when used this way.
In either case, don't use too much QD.
Some QDs such as Qwik-Shine (or whatever their "inventive"

spelling is) work OK for both types of LSP, but IME the previously suggested approaches work better.
