Tips on visual inspection?

Anyone have recommendations on visually inspecting your final results?

I've still had instances where I found wax residue even after going over my final detail with a QD, or seen imperfections in windows I've already cleaned even after inspecting them.

I've tried looking at the paint and the glass at different angles and different distances.

I know this question is vague but perhaps you Pros can lend some insight in my quest for perfection.

Usually after checking the work in controlled lighting (indoors), we have to pull the car out to sunlight to inspect it further since some hazing doesnt appear with florecent

I Do about three walk arounds with a microfiber mitt or towel, run your hands over every sq inch of it.......

Patrick,

It is interesting that you used the phrase 'walk arounds'. That's how I do my final quality inspection.

Hey, sometimes I probably walk around the car three, four and five times before it passes my inspection.

Thanks for sharing that good information!

Oh, absolutely Frank, and upon delivery to the client I will walk once around with them......

Patrick,

It is really cool when you are that confident about your work. Just to see your clients' initial reaction of complete satisfation is more than worth the hours spent doing the job.

Thanks for the reply...
