Tips and Tricks: Shake your products!

Jay, I have a lot of pictures, show brochures from the ones I've won at, and detailed pictures of the processes I utilize.

Have a great weekend~~

GSR - I bet you shake everyting :lol

Jay- Nick is a pro - no questions asked ;) - I think anyone that details ferarri's, porsches, bently's..what have you (repeat customers) qualifies as a pro and an expert..at least in my book.

Nick - in my book a pro is someone who gets paid to detail and makes a living at it (as in repeat cutomers - like you or our buddy Clean Dean..)

Being a true pro cannot be defined by taking classes, being certified, or having repeat customers. While these things are a great asset, a true pro is one who delivers great service, takes extreme pride in there profession, and always strives to improve and perfect their craft. As in many professions, there are many who call themselves pros, but few who are.

Groe and Kim, y'all said it best! Certificates are nice, but they don't help you detail better (they just hang on the wall). Experience and standing behind your work is definitely the key to this business (not how fast you can finish a car up, like the industry standard).

Jay, I have my 2 portfolios in the car which is at the shop for the next couple days. Like Woob said, some of my work is up in the gallery with the exception of some of the new ones I've recently done and the show materials.

Anyway, to kinda get back on track, look for a new Tips and Tricks thread every few weeks or so. :bigups
