Tiny Tar Specks

When I wash my car, I occassionally find tiny black pinhead sized specks. When I press on them they smear but wash away easily. I now found some more, but they are under the wax, and don't wash or wipe away. Would a product like Victoria lite cleanse or deep cleanse possibly remove them? Although it reads they are pre wax cleaners. Or should I use a claybar? Then polish and rewax.
 
I have some on our vehicles. I'm not sure what they are because they don't seem like road tar since I got some of them after construction season. I suspect that they might be some type of atmospheric fallout from the local coal plant. Mine won't come fully off with a claybar and in many cases I have to use my fingernail to remove them. Still they won't come completely off even after a compounding. I think I'd have to resort to a pretty strong solvent to fully remove them.
 
Did you try IPA? Just curious...do you park near mulch? I have a bed of mulch to the side of my car...and I have these spots also. many people often find them on the siding of their house if there is mulch nearby. Theory has it that they are spores from the mulch.

What stuff did you use? I believe I may have the same issue with my car.

Flawbolt, did IPA work for you in removing these?
 
Durddy...IPA helps to soften the spore...then I have to use my finger...they are about the size of poppy seeds...and stick to the paint like crazy. Some people have had great success with Tarminator.
