Tinted Window Problem? Looking for some help here?

Hey Guys i have a question:

I have water spots on the outside of my tinted windows and i am wondering of how to get them off?

Anybody have any ideas thanks

Well the tint is done on the inside of the glass, so the fact that it's tinted should not matter. You can start by trying clay bar. If that doesn't work I have alway had good luck using a medium polish on the PC.

Others swear by vinigar, but it will depend on the water spots.

Agreed... I usually start off with "One Grand Special Touch". It's a non-abrasive cleaner specifically formulated for water spots. If they are "etched", then I go with a medium polish and the PC as Rasky recommended.:thumbup:
 
Another way to get these off is using "000" steel wool and a glass polish; just have to be careful to keep the steel wool off of any rubber, trim, etc., that is directly next to the glass..
If all else fails cerium oxide powder sold by the Eastwood Company to remove scratches in glass should take this off too.
