Tinted, detailed, and re-named the G

audicoupe: I've juggled debadging around a LOT. I thought maybe just the "G35" or the "G35" and "I N F I N I T I" or even it all. Anyone want to chop the above pic? I'm no good on photoshop.

Wow that's one clean G :D Nice to see you post up again.

What camera are you using? Auto or Manual on the camera?
 
I think the badges add focus, texture and detail to this tail. Debadged, it looks like an incomplete crash repair. The middle section becomes a huge boring plane, which is overly dominant and adds unnecessary visual height. And yes, it looks clean, but in a highly unattractive way. The genius endless road/horizon logo deserves more IMO.

The thing I also like about this is that it has symmetry with the nose and I agree with you, Bence, the completely debadged, although clean, just doesn't work on this trunk...it's too tall. With my Integra, it looked much better completely removed.
 
The G is looking smokin now Sean! Glad to hear you you approved of JAMES' work and I am not getting flamed for steering you in the worng direction! LOL



I have my G completely debadged but I agree w/ you and teh others that the sedan trunk is just too tall to go completely bare like a centerfold. I vote for keeping Mt Fuji and 86'ing everything else!

Maybe you answered this already, but I read through and don't think it was asked, but would you mind saying how much you paid for the tint service?



I'm going back and forth trying to figure out if tinting my 240sx would be good or not. I have 20% on my Maxima right now, and can't see anything at night out of the rear if there are no street lights or anything like that. But...I do love how it looks. I paid 220 for my Maxima's tint up in Rochester for a pretty decent job, I was just wondering how the location and associated care plays a role in price. Feel free to pm me if you don't want the info public.
