Tint!!!!

For those who remove tint when detailing know about GLUE when taking the tint off.. sometimes you get lucky and dont get any glue,,,, but that is far a few between.. i wanna know if anyone has any tricks for not leaving glue.. I have tried formula 409 and a trash bag.. and it works sometimes.. but not as many times as I would like... any other tricks that i dont know about..



Any input would be appreciated

Just peel it off and use goo gone or something of that nature to remove the glue.

Don't you use ammonia to remove tint glue?

googone will leave a film that will leave streaks all over the window... yea.. amonia will work to remove the glue.. but the question is how to get the tint off without leaving glue

I think the idea of ammonia is to soak and dwell the tint. Maybe wipe the tint with ammonia and then place some plastic film on it to let it soak in.



The reason not to use ammonia based cleaners on tint.
