Tin Can Wax

Apparantly, I've begun a rather informal collection of paste waxes. Specifically wax that comes from the factory shipped in a metal tin of some sort. So far I've got just a few:

Collinite 476s

NXT Tech Paste

Meguiars Cleaner Wax (red tin)

Megs #16 x 6

What am I missing? Remember the rules of the game state that the wax *must* be be contained by a metal tin of some sort - NO Plastic. Links to a good vendor would also be appreciated.

Thanks - Andrew

*Edit*

I'll keep a running list of all the waxes below.

How about FK1's waxes?

http://www.fk1usa.com/products-consumer.htm

Pink Wax (2685) and Hi -Temp (1000P)? I picked up some PW after a small tin of it came with my order of 425, 146 & FX-100. Have since bought the 16oz tin of it. Been wanting to try the 1000P, but I already have a tin of 476s and haven't even used it yet.

Can't forget One Grand Blitz Wax!

drck100 - I'd heard of the FK1, but thought that their stuff was all in bottles, Thanks! I'll have to pick up some Pink wax for sure.

Quick89si - One Grand Blitz wax is on the way!

Mike-In-WV - I haven't seen Turtle wax in a metal tin for a while? Seems like all it comes in is plastic nowadays... is the Simonize worth buying?

SR20det - I always seem to forget about Mothers, I'll pick some up next time I see it on sale.

C'mon guys, I know there are more out there than just this small list!'

One of my faves from the mid-'70s still comes in a tin: Pro's W-41

Wonder if it still smells the same...might make for a nice trip down memory lane, I oughta get a can.

Not nec. all great waxes, but these come in tins:

Collinite Super Sapphire (And the rest)

Harly Wax

Megs 26 (Now going back to tin, was in tin, then plastic, now tin)

Gold Class

Beauty Shine Pink and Blue waxes

RainX Ultra

Rally

Nufinish paste

TW Emerald Series (if you can find it.)

Original Natty's

Lots form Europe (If you have a contact there. ;) )

I'm sure there are more, but this is all I can think of off the top of my head.

Would you be willing to part with a tub of the #16, I can't find it anywhere! If so, PM me. Sorry to hijack the thread...

In the 60s and 70s "Classic" car wax came in a tin. I don't think it's made anymore. I remember using that on a lot of my early cars. My dad used it on his 64-1/2 Mustang.

Can't find a picture online. I might still have a can. I'll have to take a pic.

Hehe... sorry, they'll have to pry those from my cold dead hands. You may want to start a "WTB" thread in "The Trading Post" section, people seem to have pretty good luck finding sellers there. Good luck.

Maybe I oughta update my original post and keep a running list of all the tin can waxes people are telling me about.

May I be so bold as to ask why you want your wax in a metal tin? Is this some sort of fetish?? :D

To be honest, I don't really know why. Not that I have anything against liquids or other packaging types, I've got my share of those as well. I remember visiting this guys house one day years ago (10 maybe? I had only been driving a short while) and he was waxing his *flawless* old Mini Cooper using a paste that came out of a tin and was genuinely enjoying it on a level most people probably wouldn't appreciate, I know at the time I couldn't have. Perhaps I'm trying to capture some of that? Who knows... :nixweiss

Also, the metal tin has a bit nostalgia factor that I can appreciate. To me its just more fun applying wax from a tin, and I do things more often when I enjoy them.
