Time estimating for work

I am in the middle of making a transition to hourly rates as opposed to the packages I currently offer. I have been taking notes on how long the vehicles are taking me, as well as writing down all of the services I offer with the estimated time to complete them. Does anyone have any charts or tools to help calculate the estimated time you will need to address a vehicle? If anyone can include the diff services that they offer and how long they spend I would greatly appreciate it. I am trying to get as much input as possible. Thank you!:bow

Well, I won't go into great detail but here's my basic list.

Wash, clay, seal and interior = 3 - 3 1/2 hours for cars

Wash, clay, seal, 1 step with the PC and interior = 4 - 4 1/2 hours for a car.

Full swirl removal with rotary = 8 - 14 hours

Show Car Prep = 25 - 35 hours

Now everyone has a different technical process so it may take some longer and it may take other lesser time, also depends on experience too.

About the same as Josh, but some full corrections can be done in 4-6 hours (exterior only) if the paint isn't too bad. Anything other than a basic detail, I let them know that I have to see the car to be able to give them even a rough estimate. Anytime the rotary comes out, I figure a minimum of two extra hours to complete the job.
