Threw together a product chart

Excellent

BTW, the Sonus SFX medium cut pad is yellow. It's not mentioned in the chart.

Can we put this in the archives for reference?

Your Sonus Polish abrasive levels are off. My experience is that SFX1 is quite a bit more abrasive than SSR2.5 and SFX3 is more like SSR1.

Hey, this is great...but you might want to look at your ranking of the 3 Meg's chemical cleaners (MPPC, Clearcoat Body Scrub, and DC1). My study of info posted by Mike Phillips on MOL indicates MPPC is the most "powerful" followed by Body Scrub (although both of these are now discontinued), with DC1 last, and that these are all chemical cleaners without (significant?) abrasives.

Fantastic job! I'm a very visual person and I always get confused with the alphabet soup of people's detailing descriptions. This brings some order to the madness.

How about adding Autoglym?

I think it would be as follows:

Medium Cut 7: AG Paint Renovator

Polish (or light cut 4): AG Super Resin Polish

Polish (or light cut 4): AG Ultra Deep Shine

Finish: AG Extra Gloss Protection

I'm just gonna go get some UDS (if Halfwits have got any) so I might be able to determine whether it is more or less abrasive than the SRP.

how about the mezerna glaze??? and the egde 2000 pads green is light cut and yellow is med cut black is heavy cut.

I love it and it's printed already

Naturally, Halfwits didn't have any of the new AG products, but they did have a whole load of Meguiars stuff, so I bought 2 MF cloths and applicator pads instead. :D

Great work!! :bigups

Quite an accurate chart, old boy!

My assesment of Mothers PowerPolish is similar to AlexRuiz.

My assessment of Autoglym is a little different to D3mon. IMO, Paint Renovator is 4, and SRP is 2.

Also, Megs #9 is (reportedly) more in the 2 cartegory. In my experience (and many on this board) #82 is a level higher in abrasiveness than #9. Mike Phillips has stated that #82 has been incorrectly catergorised. Either #82 is 3 and #9 is 2, or #82 is 4 and #9 is 3. :nixweiss

Thanks for going to the trouble. :xyxthumbs
